Hi guys ,
So I'm planning a project that will use both local and remote Databases.

My question is how do I package my application into a installable  executable (.exe)? As I will need to package my database (likely MySQL/SQLite) and the JRE incase the end-user doesn't have it or the correct version installed and has no internet connection.

If possible can you point out a few tool /techniques to accomplish this (with links if possible)?

Or am I looking at this wrong, are there better solutions out there?

Thanks in advanced for all the help!

Thanks ! well no binary values at this point of the plan , yeah I was thinking it would be both I would have a database on a server and locally for offline use then when user connects it can commit and "sync"(still gota figure that idea out). This project is still conceptual in the planing phase !

Int[] arrayToFindMinMax= {1, 9, 3, 7, 8};

This will be the array you would sort through, rename it at you please.

Hope this helps!

Lol didn't read first loop but you could do this inplace of the first loop

Hi guys,
I would like to know what type of database is best for a small scale(+-500 users ) cross platform application (Windows , Linux , android ect)?

Thanks in advanced for all the help and advice!
Hi guys , so I've been thinking of building a app for my college . It would be used by lecturers for many things ,ie tracking students marks and attendances.

So I'm just in the planing phase and am confused about how I would achieve a shared database for many users(educators ).

What if a user edits a entry that someone else is using at the same time ?

How would I overcome the fact that they would be able to use the system offline and online without causing issues with changes in the online database vs the local version?

Just some confusion and it probably a simple concept I don't understand or missed as a novice ...thanks for the help in advanced for all the help!

I made some changes to the code:

Thanks for the advice, I realized there was no point to the else block doing nothing, as thats the same as having no else block vice versa.
