Hey.

I want to pass the 1Z0-071 (Oracle Database 12c SQL certification), but don't know which resources to use for preparation.
Can you recommend some books and mock exams like Enthuware?

Thanks.
Thanks!

Karl, it took me about a month. Every day, before my work I studied for one or two hours.
Studying for the OCP was a lot harder than the OCA for me.

Hi.

I passed the OCP exam two days ago. The result is 88%.
Three month ago I passed the OCA exam with 88% too. My OCA result.

The resources I used:
1. "OCP: Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 8 Programmer II Study Guide" by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff;
2. Enthuware (www.enthuware.com);
3. Coderanch (www.coderanch.com).

Thanks to the authors of the resources.

Good luck, everyone!

I want to pass the Spring Professional Certification.
I have 2 questions:

1. Do I really have to take the Core Spring class? (http://pivotal.io/academy says: "The Spring Professional Certification is designed for developers who have taken the Core Spring class..").
2. Is there any books or mock test for preparation?

Thanks.
Hi. January 21, 2016 I passed OCA exam with 88%.
I took me 12 days to go through all the exam topics, from 3 to 5 hours each day.

I'm very happy to be certified, but not with the result because I made some stupid mistakes that I wasn't supposed to.

The resources I used were:
1. Boyarsky Selikoff-Oracle Certified Associate Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide;
3. Mala Gupta - OCA Java SE 7 Programmer I;
2. Enthuware mock tests.

I'm very thankful to the authors of that resources.

From now on I'm studying the OCP exam topics.
I'm planning to pass OCP in 3 month.
I think it's enough time for me to prepare for the exam.

Good luck for everyone!
