Good Day,
I am trying to find out which character equates to a boolean true value. I have found out that `K` `F` `0` equates to false but for some reason `T` `1` `Y` or `S` do not equate to true. If also tried `TRUE` `true` `True` `-1` and the rest of the alphabet.
I am using the ODBC driver for text files which uses the Microsoft CSV/Excel driver.

The following changes should be made in order to return the String.
//----------------------DynamicClass----------------------------
public String Hello()
{
return "A rolling stone gathers no moss2";
}
//----------------------DynamicClient---------------------------
Method method = c.getMethod("Hello", null);
value = (String)method.invoke(object, null);
System.out.println("Blah " + value);

Good Day,
I am trying to call a class dynamically. And the client should pass back a value via it's parameters so that the client can print it to the system console. However, the server class cannot return the value, I think this has to do with the fact that the 'value' is being passed by value and not by reference.
How can I get DynamicClass to change the value that DynamicClient send the Hello method?
//-------------------------DynamicClass.java---------------------
import java.io.*;
public class DynamicClass
{
String hello = "hello";

public DynamicClass()
{
hello = "Welcome to Dynamic Class";
}
public void Hello(String value)
{
System.out.println(value);
value = hello;
System.out.println(value);
}
}
//------------------------DynamicClient.java---------------------
import java.io.*;
import java.lang.reflect.*;
import java.net.URLClassLoader;
public class DynamicClient
{
public static void main(String args[])
{
try
{
String value = "";
String classname = "DynamicClass";
String classdir = "http://mark/DynamicClass/";
java.net.URL url = new java.net.URL(classdir);
java.net.URL urls[] = {url};
ClassLoader loader = new URLClassLoader(urls);
java.lang.Class c = loader.loadClass(classname);
Object object = c.newInstance();
Method method = c.getMethod("Hello", new Class[]{String.class});
method.invoke(object, new Object[] {value});

System.out.println("Blah" + value);

}
catch(Exception e)
{
e.printStackTrace(System.err);
}
}
}
//-------------------------Output--------------------------------

rojects\Web\DynamicClass\classes122.zip";. DynamicClient

The reason I ask is because the company I work for has been contemplating whether or not to invest time and resource into getting XP adopted. It just seems that many XP firms have deved their on in-house tools and they use this to obtain market advantage (this is great for them).
Good Day,
It seems that XP takes a lot of control away from the project manager.
Good Day,
One of the main thrusts behind XP, is that you have automated tools that process the builds, unit testing, integration and code generation.
I know for the Java environment there are a host of tools like JUnit, Ant (but to name a few).
I know there is a VBUnit package of the XP programming site. What I was wondering is, does anyone know about more tools for the VB environment.
:-) The Java folks really enjoy a brilliant user community!!! I Like
Good Day,
XP stipulate that a developer should enjoy an 40-hour week. It also stipulates that at the end of each day the new code written should be fully integrated into the system and should pass all of the unit tests.
Now if a unit test fails and programmer A caused that test to fail by the code he/she added to the system, is it his/her responsibility to remain after work to fix the bug or does it become part of the tasks for the next working day?
Good Day,
XP is a very different methodology than what most developers/customers/managers are use to. And most references refer to XP being an all-or-nothing methodology. I would like to know if it is possible to incremently introduce XP into an organisation and what would be the best way to accomplish it.
Good Day,
You use the deploy tool to define the security information of an application. Is it possible to query this information during run-time of the application. Maybe you would want to front-end the security tool so that an administrator could add users via web front-end?

How come when you add a user using the realm tool you don't specify the realm you want to add him/her to, however when you remove a user you specify the realm?
Good Day,
I would like to create an java applet that functions like a toolbar. It will have buttons for certain functions. When the button is pressed, I want it to submit an url to the server. The server will process the request and post the reponse. It would be helpful if I could specify which frame is the target of the response.
Is there an object/api that specifies the browser that the applet is living in?
