Dear u r going in a correct direction and working perfect try to lrn and read JDesktoppane, this might help u in adding, update and delete. do not make seperate class for each thing . ok now for programming go get Java Swing Book Deitel and Deitel both the green book and advance edition. programming can be learned from practice ... well practice practice make man perfect but no body ios perfect why do we need practice.

try to search some project related to u r project....

U R CODE WITH ARRAY IN DAYS
import java.util.*;
import java.text.*;
class DayfromDate{
public static void main(String args[])throws Exception{
Calendar rightNow = Calendar.getInstance();
rightNow.set(rightNow.DATE, 15); // date here
rightNow.set(rightNow.MONTH, 7); // month here 7 is AUG
rightNow.set(rightNow.YEAR, 2003); // year here
int k=rightNow.get(rightNow.DAY_OF_WEEK);
String[] days = {"SUN","MON","TUE","WED","THU","FRI","SAT"};
System.out.println(days[k-1]);

/*String day=null;switch(k){
case 1: day="SUN";
break;
case 2: day="MON";
break;
case 3: day="TUE";
break;
case 4: day="WED";
break;
case 5: day="THU";
break;
case 6: day="FRI";
break;
case 7: day="SAT";
break;
default:
break;
} // end of switch
System.out.println(day);*/
}
}

hi,
i think days in array is more excellent solution rather then going for switch statement...just make an array of days
String[] days = {"SUN.....,"SAT"};
and then take the element and pick the right value of an array.
this how it work

hi!
u have to add the field in the Table by using 2D Array or set the vector in the Table. If u want to add the field dynamically u have to uise the DefaultTableModel. I suggest u to use DefaultTableModel.
Take Care
