Hi, I have a question from reading the HFEJB book regarding to the stub action behind the scene when a client calls the EJB. Is the follwing statements correct?

The client obtains the Home object from JNDI lookup, the server returns the home stub to the client.

Then client reqest for the EJBObject from the home stub, the server returns the EJBObject stub to the client.

I.e. the clients will have 2 stubs. Is this correct?

I have SCJD 1.4 and knowledge for EJB 2. If I do EJB 3 exam, do you think that would be a problem? I never coded in Java 5.

I agree with your view. However, I would state that in my choices.txt.

Imagine if your program is used on the market. Wouldn't it be annoying to click on the mode you want to run every time you start the software? I would much prefer to have a short cut link to run the command with specified mode. Double click and voila!

I think Sun has many reason to do things a certain way. And one of them could be, of course, to confuse you.

You can take as long as you want. Your submission must run in the current production version of JDK if it has superceeded the version you have purchased by 18 months. Which means, if you submit your assignment now, it must run under Java 5.

I have mine for 2 years and passed 2.5 months ago. Mine is done in 1.4.

No I didn't. The certmanger says "pending" but I have the result from the assignment download site. I am not sure whether this is normal. ;(

2018 words all in points. I only stated the major decisions, odd decision, unclear spec decisions, assumptions, odd behaviour of the application etc. I didn't write anything about particular line of code, why did I wrote it like that etc. I don't think they like to read throught pages and pages of little things that can be considered as common sense so I didn't put lots of details in there.
