Looks like you are pulling the values from session and showing it back. What kind of JSP it is ? Is it backed by an data beans ?

JSP
You have to use the JSTL functions.
Something like ${fn:length(requestScope.list)}. It supports finding both collection size or the string length. Look at JSTL documentation for functions http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/jstl/1.1/docs/tlddocs/fn/length.fn.html.

Hi All,
I too cleard the test with 72% score.Test was not as easy it is expected to be.Test has overwhelming questions w.r.t JSR 168 ways of coding. Some tips apart from the above posts :
> Concentrate on trouble shooting section in the infocenter for both Portal and RAD 6.0
> Question about RAD 6.0 are few.
> Cooperative portlets, portlet wiring, elements in WSDL file etc
> Enhancements to struts w.r.t portal integration

Cheerz,
Harish
Priya,
As you have said you are using WAS 6.0, why not use different profile configurations. You can view profiles in WAS 6.0 as enhanced version of wsinstance.
Note : WAS 6.0 doesnt come wsinstance

Suggest to have an utility class which creates connection on request and which will be released by the caller once the work is done.Putting close in destroy method is a very design.

Doubt if right jar is loaded from the weblogic end. Some mismatch in the deserializers implementation. Can you confirm :
> If you are having your own axis.jar under WEB-INF/lib ?
> Check weblogic documentation if it has inbuilt axis api's.I know websphere 5.x has,but not sure on weblogic.

Kumran,
As said, NTLM will not work if you have configured to hit via a proxy server. It should be on the same LAN.

Please go thru the Commons HTTP documentation http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/httpclient/authentication.html

Kumaran,
Try to resolve the URL hit issue. You must get the same challenge for userid/password once you hit the URL http://239.271.380.120/serveme/WS.asmx.
My Question was :
> Are you part of the same domain as the NTLM ?
> Do you access "239.271.380.120" machine via a HTTP Proxy.
> To change to HTTP 1.1, go to IE > Tools > Interet Options Advanced tab.
Check for HTTP 1.1 settings.

NTLM authenticates a connection and not a request.
> Check if you are connecting to the target end point via a proxy
> NTLM requires HTTP keep-alives.So make sure you are not using HTTP 1.0

If i am right, your are challenged with HTTP authentication whenever you are trying to access any resource from your webapp. It is nothing to do with integrating axis with windows security.Using setUsername and setPassword on axis call object will not help.It is meant for HTTP Proxy credentials on the client side.
Suggest to disable the http authentication on server side and try.

Can you post the stacktrace what you are getting ? Suggest to try LDAP code snippet in a seperate java program.Once unit tested, you can plug it in your Swing client.
