Looks like the 815 certification is retired. Its no longer listed in http://www.ibm.com/certify

A new certification 817 - IBM Certified for On Demand Business - Solution Design V2 has been introduced.

http://www-03.ibm.com/certify/certs/ebcpsdesv2.shtml

Though the objectives look similar to 815, there is no mention of security, networks, storage management, etc. The reference books lists the Redbook: Selling Solutions for On Demand Business. So is it for sales professionals rather than application development professionals?

Anyone has more details about this new test?

Regards,
Vasu
Adam,

Apart from the redbook meant for 815, how deep does one need to learn about IBM's products, security, etc.?
There are hardly any resources for sample questions. Any tips about how the questions will be framed?

Thanks,
Vasu
Hi John,

I understand the test you had taken has been replaced. But in general, was the redbook enough for preparation? How deep does one need to go in the materials given in the references section of the redbook?

Unlike other tests, very little info is available on the internet
and I guess the family of IBM certs - 815, 816 and 812(retired) would be of similar nature.

Any other general tips for preparation.

Thanks in advance,
Vasu
All who wanted to know about preparing for IBM's XML Certification, here is a good article written by Hari Vignesh and Pradeep Chopra.

oh God!!! the previous posting does not make any sense.
I tried to say that replace '&' with '&' but the browser replaced the '&' with '&'
Vasu.
Convert the '&' to '&' and then try parsing, it should work.
