Hi Satish,
For my preparation of the 287, I focused mainly in ejb/jsp/servlets/patterns.
Any ressources related to these technologies do the job, personnaly i used HF (Kathy&Bert)and J2ee Server programming 1.3(WROX).
Also, i develop a little J2EE application with WASD for practicing myself and also for knowing all the aspects of designing, building,packaging and deployment under WASD, it helps me much more for the exam.
For Howard's Book, i focus on chapters related to WASD, I take 2,5 days for reading chapters : 8,10,11,12 and 14.
Ah, don't forget to review the ICE 287 answers posted by Nikhil.It's very helpful.

Hello,
Yesterday, I have passed the 287 test.
The exam was little difficult.
Many questions related to EJB,jsp/servlets, cookies,BEST practices and design of these technologies and finally some WASD questions related to UTC,classloaders,profiling and data access.
My preparation focused in the same way as the 484 exam, i add in my preparation the interesting Kushner's book.
The differents posts here related to ICED are very useful and motivant.
My next exam : 486
