I don't think so, Indian experience will definitely be treated in US, however, I heard somewhere in this forum, that, in UK, Indian work experience will not be considered.

Anybody correct if I am wrong.

Hi,

The interview pattern will be like this:

1. There will be a technical round of interview, where your interviewer will ask you various questions on the technlogies/projects you put in your cv. You need to answer his/her questions. If your answers satisfy your interviewer you will get a job, otherwise, he/she will say that he/she will get back to you soon.

2. Another HR round if you are well technically similar to technical one.

Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.

Hi All,

I know that for H1B one should have 16 years of education (like B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc in India), but I have B.Sc which is 3 years course. My education comes around 15 years only. Am I eligible for H1B?

I think as long as you work hard to complete the tasks given to you, and as long as your manager is happy with your work, firing is NOT correct.

The point is, I think somebody might have mentioned it before I guess, companies should offer the job to candidates after verifying everything. Why giving offer and then firing?

And also, what if reservations come into private sector? Companies should hire backward people with less/no knowledge of technology, which is equavalent to fakers.

Hi All,

I have long term plans to settle/work in UK/Germany. I have 3.5 years of experience in J2EE presently working in HP. Can you people tell me what is the work culture, environment, treatment for Indians, pay factros in UK and Germany. Please also discuss about job opportunities in both countries.

Hi All,

I need to open an .exe file using Java. I don't want to run that exe with Java, but I need to open the .exe using Java (to see the binary). I am able to open .exe in EditPlus tool, the same content I want to see in Java console when I run the Java programme.

Please suggest me a way to do that.

NOTE: We should not use readLine() method, as I tried with that, it is not giving right binary content and also causing continuous beep.

Thanks in advance,
Ganesh.

In US I have no much idea, however, I can say that you can expect around
$ 80K per anum keeping tax in mind you plan accordingly. Also, expenses depends on the area/state you are posted.

Hi,

You can expect around 12 LPA, because one of my friend having 5+ years of experience in J2EE got offer for 10 LPA. Ask them for 12 LPA + Onsite.

All the best.

Hi All,

I am experienced in J2EE development, I am now thinking to enter in some other technical area probably SAP, I heard that to learn and enter into SAP line one should have domain knowledge. Is it true? How can I fit into SAP line with this J2EE background. I have around 3.5 years of experience in J2EE.

I appreciate suggessions on this.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Santhosh,

I don't think education plays a great role unless we are from IIT or so. Take my example, I did my B.Sc and started my career in a construction company as programmer and I have 3.5 years of experience in Java and next month I am joining HP as Sr.Software Engineer with good hike.

I am doing M.Sc computer science part time, as I have Ph.D plans in future. Ph.D also I am planning to do part time. Its all in your attitude, if you good at your work NOBODY CAN BEAT YOU.

KJ, what do you say on this? am I right?

Good Luck Dude,

Hi All,

Is there a way in Java where we can achieve multiple inheritance, for example

ClassA has a method aMethodA();
ClassB has a method aMethodB();

I want ClassC to inherit these two methods aMethodA() as well as aMethodB(). Is there a way we can do that except with interfaces, because we cannot provide default behaviour for interface methods.

Thanks & Regards,
Ganesh.
