does any one know whether the bonForum web app from the German book and later English translation has been updated to Java 2 and Xerces/Xalan 2.6.x? I recently bought the English translation, but have to have older version of xerces/xalan to make it work. Thanks

if it is so much trouble to display an applet, then microsoft has really done something to the java movement.

I could display applet before, but not now. Under tools | internet options | advanced, for Microsoft VM, the checkbox for 'java console enabled' is unchecked, I could not check it. I am using win2000. Is this an admin issue?

started using resin, the resin.conf includes a line that shows:
<app-dir>doc</app-dir>
to point to the server root folder.
If my webapps are in c:\webapps, should I do this:
<app-dir>c:\webapps</app-dir>

It does not seem to work. Thanks
