If use JRUN as the servlet engine, do i have to call the servlet as HelloServlet.jrun, if i'm using this servlet as an action element in a html form?

Hi,
I ahve problems deploying ejbs on weblogic 5.1.I'm using windows 2000.I read in some of the forums that there are problems with windows 2000 and weblogic 5.1 in terms of ejbs and it works fine with servlets.
Can some body pl claryfy???

Hi,
I have auto numbers in many of my SQL-Server tables, how do i update them using my entity benas???Say, i have 5 fields and i set 4 of them and the 5th one is a auto number,does that get inserted automatically???

I mean if I have a stored proc returning a resultset, taking in 5 parameters, then do i have to say, c.registeroutparameter for resultset???(i would say setXXX() for input params anyways)

I have a stored proc which takes 5 parameters , does some manipulation and returns me a record set.How do i call that in JDBC?
callablestatement c = stmt.preparecall("call sp_myproc(?,?,?,?,?)")
and say setXXX for all the five parameters....and say
resultset rs = c.execute()
and then manipulate the resultset???
Am i correct???

Sorry, i meant the stateful session benas..i know that stareless session beans do not store the state........
I do know that we need to pass in parameters thru the create method, but i wnat to know the mechanism inside to store the state.

Thanks a lot for your response.
I do understand that using session and entity beans is a good ides when migrating to J2EE...but i already have all the stored procedres written and I want to make use of those...
Also, can entity beans handle all the data base transactions...i mean all the complex sql logic???Or is it that u want me to put all the logic using sql code in session beans???
Pl help me with more suggestions.
