Hi everybody,

I have the following problem : i wrote a webapp which is deployed under Tomcat , this webapp is for several clients with a custom name for each of them.

I need to get the name of the webapp that is configured in the Tomcat server.xml (not in the web.xml) because this name change for differents clients and i need it for my business operations. I want to read the name at the startup of the Tomcat. So i try to write a custome Listner but i only access to the ServletContext and i can't find the way to get the name !

I don't want specially write a listner so if you have another solution to solve my problem i am ok !

Thanks

Hello everybody,

I need your help on a problem which made me crazy !

I have 2 source directories with some identical classes, so if i compile i have an error (it's normal ok !).

If my source directories are src1 and src2, what i want is exclude from the compile the classes of src1 that are present in src2.

I tried several parameters in my javac task but with no success !

Anybody have an idea ?

Thanks

Hi everybody,

Sorry for my poor english and the size of the post.

I have a critical problem with a prepared query and bind variable in Java.

I try to execute the following query which do return one row :

The tce column is a decimal, age column a varchar and cli a varchar

with the following values :

No rows are returned.

If I don't respect the order of the bind variable like this :

The correct row is returned.

I am confused because it seems that the jdbc driver bind the variable first in the inner join and after in my case ... when inspite their order in the query.

The same query work perfectly under Oracle whit the good order for the bind variables.

My informix database is 9.40.UC2
My Jdbc informix driver is 2.21.JC5

If anybody have an explaination.

thanks

Thanks for your answers, ly aim isn't to measure the reuest itself but the size
of the memory used between the moment where the appserver received the request and the moment where it send the response. This is for evaluate the memory need for several parallele users.

Hello everybody,

First post in JavaRanch !! Sorry for my poor english !

So I want to monitor the size in memory for each http request for my web application (under tomcat and wls).

Do you know a tool (not expansive ) or a way to do that.

The tools that I found (jprobe, jprofiler, ...) only allow to monitor global memory but don't allow to separate results by http requests.

Thanks for your answers.
