I started preparing for this exam during the end of august, but only during the weekends because of school. Then in November I had studied intensively for three weeks. I first read Mala Gupta’s book, then I read Jeanne Boyarsky’s book and practices all the end of chapter questions. I also had his separate practice book and was able to practice chapter wise quizzes on line on Wiley Efficiant. For tests I used Enthuware and Whizlabs. I did all the tests, and my testing schedule was 4 weeks before the test, I would take a test every Friday and Saturday, while sunday was for looking through my mistakes. The week before the test I had done a test everyday so I could have the day before the test as a revision day. My scores on average were between 71 and 77 except the foundation test which I failed with a 64 and the last day enthuware test which I got an 83. Enthuware was very helpful because it simulated the test both question wise and format wise. Whizlabs was mostly great, but I felt they asked too many weird and unnecessary questions. I emphasize coding a lot and whenever you are confused on a concept or get a question wrong to code the problem or debug it to see how it works. My score was the average of all my Enthuware tests and I found that the last day test both improved my average and boosted my confidence. One thing is that when I went to the center to take the test the mask made me feel very uneasy and reduced my concentration.
